I liked it . It seemed very smooth, but I'm not sure what an editor does besides cutting out junk.
enlighten me!

very good. pleasing to the eye..just enough music..blending was fun to watch. One little comment....the credits at the end say February 2008....time does go by fast, I admit but I'm pretty sure you just made this film in 2009!

i'm trying to figure out what it takes in order to come up as Anonymous in the comments...so, this one is just a test

yep...ok, so it is a matter of you ACTUALLY CLICKING ON ANONYMOUS in the "Choose an identity" box below, isn't it? you know how i don't like anonymous posts, especially when it's a conscious thing...instead of clicking the ANONYMOUS box, try clicking the NAME/URL box, it's only directly above, and it saves me the hassle of trying to figure out who might have said what..because let us be honest...it's either my mom at work, or my mom at home, and that is really hard to distinguish from just text...seriously though...

ANYWAYS...an editor is considered the third storyteller of a film. first is the actual writer, second is the director, third is the editor. They say this because it is at these 3 stages that the story can be altered entirely into something else...especially with documentaries, the editor plays a pivotal role on the pace and mood of a film. Editors do cut a lot of stuff out, and even more stuff out if it's a documentary. this time around i was also responsible for all the title and animation work seen...which is what I really learned the most with this documentary, since i'm not a huge fan of the story...

and yes, this film was made in 2009...my bad.

you have my number look up my name said...

It might be good to post reactions to comments without attitude, some of us don't care about quality film making we only care about A+'s so keep up the great work.

I learned alot from this doc. I love simplicity, the knowledge was sweet and easy the people were gentle and sincere. I liked how the sanskrit changed to the english but I'm a slow reader so I found it disappeared to quickly.
